Today, we shall be talking about blogging and how to make money with it.

   Know this, a blog site and a website are two different things. A blog, is like an online dairy, that you update regularly. While a website doesn't need any daily updates eg company site etc.

   So, for you to start making money with your blog, you will need 'AdSense' approval, yes, the AdSense that you also use to make money from YouTube.

  But unlike YouTube, getting AdSense approval on websites and blogs is more difficult than YouTube.

   Let me explain a little about AdSense, Is an advertising program, made by google, Advertisers, pay google to advertise their goods.


  So, you as a publisher or owner of a site, google pays you to put advertise on your site or blog. You simply earn when someone clicks on the adverts on your site or when a thousand visitor visit your site.

NOTE: CLICKS AND VISIT FROM COUNTRIES IN EUROPE E.G US, UK, CANADA ETC BRING HIGHER CASH FOR YOU.

 So now that you know AdSense, let me show you how to start a blog.

If you are low on budget, you can start with blogger owned by google.

Step 1: Go to www.blogger.com sign up using your gmail.

Step 2: Choose the name of your site eg (My Site) choose website name eg (Mysite.blogspot.com) then choose author name eg (My name) then continue and your blog is ready.

NOTE: YOUR WEBSITE NAME IS (mysite.blogspot.com) BECAUSE GOOGLE IS GIVING YOU FOR FREE, IF YOU HAVE MONEY YOU CAN BUY A WEBSITE NAME TO MAKE IT SHORT AND SIMPLE eg (mysite.com or mysite.com.ng) 

Step 3: Go to page, create a (privacy policy, disclaimer, contact us etc page) Google likes those pages to get fast AdSense approval.

Step 4: Choose a theme for your blog and customize it.

Step 5: Go to setting, choose description and describe what your blog is all about.

Step 6: Go to post and start writing post, be it about (health, politics, life, story, fashion etc) make sure each post is 500words or more. Write many post

Step 7: Start sharing your website links on social media and everywhere to gain more traffic (traffic meaning visits) 

Step 8: Go to earnings and once you're eligible, you click apply to AdSense, fill their form and wait for them to approve your site.

Step 9: After they approve, keep posting and sharing your blog because more traffic=more money.

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU NEVER CLICK ON THE ADVERTS YOURSELF....

Step 10: Keep updating your blog with juicy news.

    So, there you have it, how to make money blogging, it won't be easy writing, but its worth it.
